In reference to rumors currently circulating on social media by disgruntled and misinformed individuals claiming that I do not support President Trump, here is clarification. The screenshot of my comment was cherry-picked from a social media thread I posted regarding my disagreement of President Trump's endorsement of Governor Abbott. This sentiment is echoed by a multitude of Texas Patriots who are disappointed in the plethora of Abbott's failed leadership.
As the leader of a grassroots organization, the America First agenda and policies implemented by President Trump are what I stand for and support. But, we will not remain silent when it comes to the endorsement of establishment RINO politicians. "Disagree With" does not equate to "Do Not Support".
In regards to the fake news that I was ejected from the Trump town hall, here is the truth. Governor Abbott had me moved out of his presence, away from the audience, because he is intimidated by my influence within the Grassroots. That’s what out-of-touch, heavy-handed authoritarians do. However, I remained on the premises in a VIP High Security Area where I was surrounded by other elected officials. We had a great time networking, strategizing and making our coalitions stronger!
The message of “Latinos for America First” is expanding and growing! Abbott can’t and won’t be able to harness or stop that.
Governor Abbot is in trouble with Texans due to his failed leadership, especially with Hispanics along our US-Mexico border. Governor Abbott knows that we, the Grassroots, will affect the upcoming primary election. As such he wants to control the narrative and therefore didn't want me near President Trump.
LATINOS FOR AMERICA FIRST a qualified PAC. Our goals include promoting conservative America First candidates, as expressed in greater detail at: https://latinosforamericafirst.com/.
Our organization is able to serve the community so well because we have the support of wonderful volunteers and donors, competent and ethical professionals, who all share strong beliefs in what we do.
Unfortunately, every great effort must overcome obstacles and critics as it grows. Our organization welcomes constructive input of all kinds. However, false and destructive accusations serve only to hurt our entire community and mission. Such a recent smear campaign, by a disgruntled former volunteer, has become wrongful and persistent enough that we are forced to address this issue. Social media attacks, threats, and spreading false rumors or accusations are not who we are, and that is not good for you, us, or our mutual goals.
Our organization is run primarily by volunteers, and no one has ever received any improper pay or benefits for their efforts. Our finances are transparent, and all required disclosures publicly available. They reflect proper and responsible management, and devotion to our goals. You may also find a link to our publicly filed financial information on our websites above (as well as the resignation letter of the individual who later started smear campaign). Come and see us, meet us, review our financials, get to know us for yourselves. Our value is in what we can do for you, and with you, to make a better America.
